‘Type 2 Diabetes is ALMOST ALWAYS reversible’ according to Prof. Dr. Hanno Pijl, internist at the Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum (LUMC) and a member of the Health Council. There are still too few people who are aware that type 2 diabetes and many complications of diabetes are reversible. An eating pattern with predominantly vegetables plays the most important role in that respect. It’s not so much about eating less, but eating different things! More tasty, real food, with less carbohydrates, and more healthy fats.
