On 13 March, Aalt Dijkhuizen, the chairman of the Alliantie Verduurzaming Voedsel, handed over the booklet ‘het klimaat op ons bord’ (the climate on our plate) to Carola Schouten, the Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Standards. It is a symbolic plate, depicting a few of the many activities of the business community from the entire food chain. At Ouwehands Zoo in Rhenen, and based on a series of nine topics, the Alliance presented the ambition and campaigns of the business community to make the food chain increasingly sustainable. The CEO’s of 60 companies from the entire chain were engaged in talks over dinner with minister Schouten about their ambitions and campaigns related to the climate. Dutch Cuisine was also present.
