Michael Huijser, the Managing Director of the Maritime Museum is one of the new cultural ambassadors of Dutch Cuisine. The Scheepvaartmuseum and Dutch Cuisine are both familiar with the long history regarding our trade in food. The Scheepvaartmuseum, which is housed in the building of the former ‘s Lands Zeemagazijn, and was constructed during the Golden Age, is home to the second largest maritime collection in the world. Dutch Cuisine will map out the story of our Dutch food culture, in conjunction with the Scheepvaartmuseum.
